About me

I'm Oriol Canadés. I work at the intersection of product management and digital identity engineering. I don't just define what to build — I understand how it's built, and I build it myself.

What I do

At Altia, I lead the product strategy for EUDIStack — our Issuer-Wallet-Verifier suite deployed in European projects like DOME and ISBE. I define features, shape the roadmap, and make technical decisions grounded in real implementation experience with eIDAS2, OpenID4VC, W3C and SD-JWT.

Outside work, I develop Fikua — my own SSI stack where I experiment with emerging standards from the OpenID Foundation and the EU Architecture Reference Framework. This hands-on work sharpens my product instinct and keeps me close to the technology.

I also contribute to the Digital Credentials Protocols Working Group at the OpenID Foundation and the Identity Committee at Alastria.

What makes me different

I combine product vision with the technical depth to validate it. I can talk to engineers about protocol flows and to stakeholders about business value — in the same meeting.
